GTC Camping Resort Turnersee – Terms and Conditions

The following GTC of Camping Resort Turnersee apply to all legal transactions between the tenant(s) or customer(s) and Camping Resort Turnersee (Gebetsroither Turnersee Resort GmbH) as the landlord. Any deviating provisions of the tenant, in particular their own terms and conditions, shall have no legal effect.

1. Rental property

According to the contract, the rental property comprises a pitch, caravan with awning, mobile home, camping barrel or glamping tent, including inventory. Only persons listed in the rental agreement may use the rental property. Upon receipt of the travel documents, the tenant shall check that all information is correct and immediately inform the campsite in case of any uncertainties.

A specific rental property can be agreed upon subject to availability. The landlord reserves the right to provide an equivalent replacement property without any claims for damages.

Bookings can be made electronically, in writing, by telephone or online. By making a binding booking, the tenant submits an offer. The contract becomes valid as soon as the landlord sends the booking confirmation in writing or electronically.

Please note: Smoking is not permitted in mobile homes, caravans, camping barrels and tents.

2. Rental price

The rental price does not include visitor’s tax, registration fees or optional additional costs (e.g. final cleaning, pets, electricity).

3. Pets

Pets are only permitted in designated rental properties and must be specified at the time of booking. A maximum of two pets per rental property is permitted. Pets must not be left unattended or allowed on beds. The tenant must provide their own blankets, food bowls, etc. The final cleaning fee per pet is €50.

4. Tenants

Minimum age: 18 years. The tenant must be present throughout the entire rental period. Persons under the age of 18 may not be present alone without supervision; parents are liable for their children.

5. Rebookings

Changes to the rental property, duration, date, type of accommodation, season or main tenant are considered rebookings. Rebookings incur costs in accordance with the cancellation policy. Rebookings are only possible within the same season.

6. Check-in & check-out

Rental properties: Check-in from 4 p.m. (pitches from 11 a.m.). Check-out: Rental properties by 10 a.m., pitches by 12 noon. Please wash the dishes, empty the dishwasher, empty the refrigerator, dispose of rubbish, return furniture and parasols to their original locations and hand in the keys.

Early departure or late arrival: Additional accommodation fees will be charged. The tenant shall indemnify the landlord against any claims by third parties. To the Contact Page.

7. Site rules

The tenant must comply with the site rules. Violations may result in expulsion from the site. There is no entitlement to a specific pitch location, size or facilities. Wi-Fi and TV reception cannot be guaranteed. One car parking space is included; additional tents are not permitted. The instructions of the staff must be followed. Campsite rules

8. Liability & accidents

The tenant is liable for any damage caused. The landlord accepts no liability for personal belongings, cars or bicycles. Damage caused by gross negligence on the part of the landlord will be compensated.

Accidents must be reported immediately. Witnesses must be named. The tenant may not acknowledge claims for damages on their own authority. The landlord does not cover repatriation or transport costs.

9. Subletting

Subletting the rental property to third parties is prohibited.

10. Withdrawal by the lessor

If the rental property cannot be provided through no fault of the lessor (e.g. accident, storm damage, previous tenant), the lessor shall provide an equivalent replacement property or withdraw from the contract. Advance payments and deposits shall be refunded; there shall be no claims for damages. Political or legal changes do not release the landlord from partial performance.

11. Trip interruption & complaints

The tenant must report trip interruptions immediately on site. A medical certificate is required if a cancellation package has been taken out. Defects must be reported immediately on site; subsequent complaints will not be considered. Facilities and activities may be limited depending on the season.

12. Forgotten items

Forgotten items will be sent at the tenant’s expense, if desired. The tenant bears the risk of damage or loss.

13. Cancellation & payment terms

Rental properties:

Up to 60 days before arrival: 20% cancellation fee

59–30 days: 30%

29–14 days: 50%

From 13 days or no-show: 100%

Pitches:

Up to 14 days: £40 processing fee, remaining payment refunded

1–14 days or no-show: 100%

Payment: 20% deposit for bookings of 3 nights or more; remaining payment upon check-out. 1–2 nights: 100% advance payment. No deposit → booking can be cancelled.

Different arrival or departure dates: Full price for rental properties, seasonal rates for pitches (€10–30/night).

14. Entry requirements

The tenant is responsible for complying with all transit and entry requirements for Austria and transit countries.

15. Surroundings & photos

Distances to the beach, shops, etc. are approximate. Photos and floor plans show example properties; deviations are possible.

16. Data protection

Personal data is stored for the purpose of contract processing. Customers may request information, correction or deletion in writing or by email to info@turnersee-camping.com. Data will only be passed on if required by law or approved by the customer.

17. Court & law

Austrian law applies. Place of jurisdiction: Bleiburg District Court.

18. Electric cars

Charging at rental properties is not permitted; public charging stations must be used.

19. Severability clause

Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by an economically equivalent provision.
